More Rustic Walk elements

Busy, busy, busy today - I'm in the office all week rather than working at home because of holiday and bereavement cover and it means an hour and a half in the car each day to contend with at which time I would normally be able to do housework, scrapping or designing! I hate commuting - it interferes with life! And to top it off, I have a flat tyre!! I don't know whether to change the wheel myself or to call the AA to fix it. If I do it, it will be messy, but if I wait for the AA, it could take an hour or two!!! What do do?? FYI, the AA in England can be either the Automobile Association or Alcoholics Anonymous. I may need both if I try to fix it myself - wish me luck!!!!!!!! LOL! Linda - I may need you to send me those bottles of red wine that you can't drink at the moment!

Since I said I would take a photo of Lily under the bed, she has decided she doesn't want to play that game any more! I swear she reads my blog and is doing it to annoy me - LOL! I will get that photo, even if I have to get hubby to hide under the bed again to encourage her! If our neighbours could only hear what goes on in our house, they would call the men in white coats to take us away!! Only 4 days to Portugal now and I am very excited!

So, back to scrapping - I said I might do some more elements for Rustic Walk - well, here they are - I did them last night! I thought some flowers and leaves were required, so that's what I did along with some more ribbons, another frame, another overlay and a different colour mesh (Erika - glad you like the mesh). Thanks for all the lovely comments by the way - makes a girl feel special!! Click the image for the download. See you tomorrow with alphas.

I think you are a wonderful designer! I love how you use several different colors that go together in your kits. I have seen some that are very monotone. Even though they are cute, I really love the ones like yours. Keep up the great work!!

ROFL!!! Oh Vicki, the little men in white coats are just leaving my house and are on their way, as is a case of the best red wine I can find!!!

You make me chuckle so! We have BOTH AA's here in the states as well!!! I am sure that someone should stop by to lend you a hand so as to not have to wait for AA to arrive!

I agree about commuting being a waste of precious time, but whatever is one to do if one has not a say in the matter? LOL! This is why Robert and I now live in the country and he works only 20 minutes from home! He spent many years (before I met him) with his own business that kept him on the road, as well as toting wife and children to work and school, over 12 hours a day. He developed alopecia (hair loss) from the enormous stress over a decade. I am SO thrilled to know that you are able to spend most of your week working from the comfort of your own home with darling hubby and the now INFAMOUS Pompey and Lily!!!

Your second installment of elements is FABULOUS and I LOVE the CRUMPLED , CURLED and TORN paper AND the mesh! THANK YOU !!!

CHEERS,
Linda :)

Gorgeous Vicki. Good luck with the AA, this is why I work from home also, I have a pathological hatred of commuting, wasted time, wasted energy. Thanks for the extra mesh !!
Big hugs,
Erika

Beautiful as always. I understand how you feel about commuting. I do it every day of the work week...however I only have to do 45 min. in the am and 30 min. in the pm. More traffic in the am I guess or maybe I'm in a bigger hurry to get home than I am to get to work :)I am lucky I have roadside assistance with my auto. I have never had to use it yet...and hope never to have to. Knock on wood!
Thank you so much for the lovely elements.

I'm really looking forward to your alphas! :-D I'd like to echo everyone else's comments regarding your level of talent!!! You definitely have a creative eye (coming up with the mesh element you mentioned), yet you provide modern/current items (like brackets -- I can't get enough of them!!). I'm a big fan of the acrylic frame, too.
Your level of quality is incredible and your color choices are so lovely!! I'm going to end my gushing by saying that the preview for Sirin's 'baby boy' kit is really enticing! :-)

Gorgeous elements - thank you! This is my favorite kit, to date. I love the rich colors and the elements, especially the leaf sprig.

The only time I tried to change a flat tire I couldn't even loosen the wheel nuts to get the tire off - never attempted that again!! I just call BCAA and let them do the work.

Dogs and kids seem to have a lot in common. Enjoy your vacation. Over here the Alcoholic one is AA and the Automotive Club is AAA for American and CAA for Canada. So really have to know which one we want. ;). Here it can take 1-2 hours as well to get a tire changed. I've waited and sometimes gotten lucky and some nice guy has pulled over and changed the tire for me and I've canceled the auto club. Oh yeah thanks for the great elements. Now I just need to get all my other paper work caught up so I can get back to scrapping.

I just love your work! I literally spent hours downloading them all (actually I am still on it :) )
THe Rustic Walt Elemtets 2 seem to have a problem with the swirl overlay and the curled corner.... I tried to download the Elements several times and each time those two were broken.... Just wanted to let you know... maybe it is a problem in my computer... or with 4share.... Thanks again for sharing your work with us!
