Rustic alpha

Well, I decided to call the AA - no, not alcoholics anonymous, although once I've been a few days in Portugal after this stressful week.... we'll see!! It took them just 45 minutes to come out to me which isn't too bad! Although, the guy at the call centre did ask me for the postcode (zip code) of the car park I was in!!! WHAT? How do I know the post code of the car park? For godness sake! Anyway, the AA guy said that my tyre must have been soft for quite a while and it had just worn away!! OMG! I am such an awful car owner - I haven't checked the tyre pressure since my last service which was over a year ago!! Luckily my spare was fit for purpose and I got a new tyre fitted to the wheel today and all is back to normal - except that the car feels much smoother to drive ROFL!! Oh, and I fell over again today!! I won't even tell you that story!! What am I like?

ONLY 3 DAYS UNTIL PORTUGAL!! Did I tell you I am going to Portugal for my holiday this year?? LOL!

Oh, and 'come on England' - we're going to beat the USA in the football (soccer) tonight!!! I hope!! Positive thoughts everyone (well, everyone who isn't from the USA!)

So, for the alpha, I decided on a rusty alpha based on Pea Missy font - love that font - I hope you like it. Click the image to download.

I'm glad I'm not the only irresponsible car owner. Ours has been leaking and making funny noises for months and we have yet to take it to the shop. Guess I should do that one of these days . . . .

Cute alpha! At least, I think it is. My monitor has gone all yellow and funny and stretched out. Yet another thing that I guess I should take care of. :)

Oh my goodness!!! What a gorgeous kit!!! You continuously amaze me with such beautiful kits all the time. I've been "away" a few days for Memorial Day (a USA holiday to honor dead military persons). It seems I've missed so much! Four days without internet, LOL... not by choice though. ANYway, thank you!!!

I hope you have a grand time in Portugal. I've always wanted to travel.... wished and wanted is it though. Have a great day!

P.S. I secretly hope the USA wins, hehe... even if I don't watch the sport! But wishing the UK good luck!

Vicki that's a husband job checking the car, blame Rob and demand he book you a day at the spa for when you've returned from Portugal LOL. Are you sure you haven't got room in the suitcase for a worn out Aussie - sick kids, bleak weather, tired me !

Love this alpha and kit- and the last kit too! Who am I kidding? I love all your stuff. Thank you for all the beautiful kits you share- it's nice for a broke college student to be able to make just as beautiful scrapbook pages as the scrappers who can afford all the latest kits. Thanks for making that possible!

Well as an American I might still have to root for you to win the football match. I figure you guys take your football so much more seriously than we do. When I started dating my husband who is a car mechanic the first thing he did was insist on helping me buy 4 new tires for my car. I kept buying used ones and they didn't even match. He was so upset and worried about me. And like it said it was so amazing how much better the car drove.

Thanks so much for this lovely kit.

Please tell me you have extensive travel insurance and you have read the small print. Do I live a really safe life here in Ramsdell or are you really accident prone!

No really Vicki, have a fantabulous holiday in Portugal. We had the best holiday ever in Vale de Lobo many years ago. Oh happy days, I was tanned, slim and young!

Hugs
Susie
