Blogging decisions!

I have decided that I am going to slow down with my kits as my mojo will start to disappear if I don't do something!! LOL! So, I am going to do one kit a week rather than the two that I have been doing. I know that everyone will be supportive of that, but I did want to warn you all - LOL! With the ezine, and life in general, I feel I am spreading myself too thin - a few of you have even asked if I've found the secret to more than 24 hours in a day!! So, today I am taking a day off, but I will tell you some news as I know many of you come each day to my blog and I didn't want to write nothing!

First up, Mel and I have decided on our next collab kit coming in August - the theme, the colour and the whole vibe behind it! I know, you are intrigued aren't you?? I will be making a start on that after the weekend which is very busy - more of that in a minute!

Also, Scrap N' Art have a huge giveaway, which I told you about before, but you may have missed it - go to the home page and check it out - you just have to leave a comment, so it's really easy!

And, I will have some big news for you in a few weeks - another collab with a different designer who you all will already know - I am really excited about that! First Mel, now ...... (no, I won't tell you until nearer the time ;o), just know you will be excited)!!

Thank you to everyone who sent their well wishes for Lily's ticks! She has to have her yearly injections anyway, so I am going to get the vet tomorrow to look at them at the same time just to be on the safe side - I am such a worrier when it comes to my babies!! LOL!

What else is there? Ummm, let me see.... Oh yes, the busy weekend! We are having a bbq at the weekend with friends at our house. It's not a big one, but two of our best friends live quite far away and so they are staying over. When I say two of our best friends, I mean two couples and two children each! So, in our small two and a half bedroom victorian mid-terrace house, will be, overnight, 6 adults, 4 children and 2 dogs!! Oh, what a squeeze! Hubby and I will be sleeping on the floor in the living room with the dogs!! Pompey and Lily will love it - I, on the other hand, may lose the will to live!! LOL! Just joking. We get to spend the day with our three favourite couples (my BFF and her husband, Hubby's BFF who has the same birthday as him and his wife and my childhood friend who was also in the navy with hubby, and his wife), our 3 goddaughters, Ella (10), Chloe (7) and Sophie (1), plus the lovely Emily (6) and Finley (1). I am really looking foward to it - it will be fabulous!! Lots of photo opportunities there! I will have to get a "family photo"!

So, that's it for today, I will be back tomorrow with something, some ramblings or a freebie, I am not sure yet. I need to choose a day to start each kit - oh, the pressure!! LOL! So, until tomorrow, I will leave you with wishes of sweet dreams!

That's right, don't burn yourself out! I've been amazed at how much great stuff you've been churning out, and you definitely deserve to slow down a bit.

I hope you have a great time with your friends this weekend!

Hello Vicki love!!!

I've made it!!! PHEW!!! Well girl, I just send home a house full and you are gaining one, but HOW exciting to spend the weekend with both your and Rob's BFF's and their PRECIOUS families!!!

I'd say that your previous weeks of practicing the culinary arts will come in handy as well as Rob's FAB barbecuing skills!!! Oh YUMMY, to be present in your home this weekend, what a JOYFUL time of CELEBRATION it shall be!!! I'm lifting my glass and extending you CHEERS darlin'!

You are such a GOOD mummy to your babies and I just love to hear all about SWEET Lily and Pompey. I SO hope the tick situation becomes manageable and you don't have to worry about having removed the entire little blood-sucking vermit!!! Sorry, but they are not my favorite bugs and they can make an animal very ill if left undetected. Summertime is horrible here in the country and we have to check our furbabies daily.

You know, my Golden's name is Chloe! Chloe Marie to be exact and I just saw a kit bearing that name a day or two ago! Our other Golden is half Retriever and half Golden Lab. He is such a BIG bundle of LOVE! We also have a Border Collie mix that has adopted us and we've named her Emma!

I am SO excited to see what you and Mel put together this coming month and ANOTHER collab??? WOW! Can't wait to find out about that one either!!!

I am SO happy that you are slowing down a bit girlfriend. As those have spoke before me, we are SO excited and spilling over the edges when we first start and we just wish to keep giving and giving only to find as you mentioned, ourselves being spread just a bit too thinly (although I would not mind that in body!!! LOL!). It is my PASSION but after 3-1/2 years of being involved with the industry in many different capacities I, too, am looking to SLOW down and SAVOR the moments!

Oh gosh, listen to me, trying to catch up for the past week and rambling on so!

Take care sweetie and THANK YOU for MORE wonderful goodies that you SO generously share with ALL of us in SCRAPLAND!!!

Love and hugs,
Linda :)

Like everyone else...I believe you deserve time off and less of a work load. I think everyone is luck to get even one free kit from you. It's better than nothing.*smiles*

Thank you so much for all your hard work, and for sharing with us, your devoted fans, all your beautiful work!

Enjoy your weekend, it sounds like it's going to be wonderful. The house may be packed, but at least it's with people you love and cherish.

Take care.

Your kits are wonderful and one a week is more than generous. THANKS so much for sharing them with us, it's too nice.

Ticks - I give my dogs Frontline Plus and it really works, it seems one of mine is susceptible to them and it really helps him. Also I got an email the other day discussing an easy way to remove ticks (not tested by me): put some liquid soap on a cotton ball and the tick will usually back out and come out when you pull the cotton ball away. I wonder if it works.

Well - just checked Snopes.com and apparently it is not the best way, but go on there and search for tick and it's the first one and it gives detailed instructions for tick removal. HOWEVER, Frontline Plus does WORK, and well worth the money.

Sounds like an exciting weekend, but wow, you should invest in an air mattress with all the camping and floor sleeping LOL! Those children's names sound awfully familiar, but we haven't seen a Finley kit yet, have we? Maybe that would need some green, huh! Have a great weekend!

Once a week is still VERY generous, thank you so much!

Hi Vicki! Only one kit a week? ROFLOL Girlfriend, you are so generous in even giving one kit a week. Miss Linda called me yesterday to check up on me and we had a LOVELY discussion about you and your talent and we both agreed that your kits ROCK. LOL

I am slowly getting better. I get all the staples out this afternoon and I can hardly wait to get those babies yanked out. They are driving me crazy....ier. LOL In two years I have had a hip and knee replaced and now back surgery. My poor body looks like it has railroad tracks running over it...and it feels like it too. LOL

Thanks for your concern during this time and THANK YOU for all the wonderful kits you have shared with us. I love reading your blog. Hope you have a fantastic weekend and that Lily and Pompey have fun playing with the kiddos.

Love and Big Hugs,

ROFL I'm KIDDING!!!

You really have got me intrigued with the new collab with Mel and the new designer you are hooking up with! I can't wait to have it all revealed!

Enjoy your weekend with friends. It sounds like a blast! Even sleeping on the floor! hehe

And slowing down is a good idea because like the other Vicki said, you started this because you enjoyed it. You don't want it to become a chore.

As an AWP addict (I think there should be a group for us), I love your kits and totally understand your desire to slow down. I don't want you to burn out! You're so generous with your talents and time. Maybe you could break the one kit into smaller parts? Then we could still get our daily fix! (*grin*)

I was beginning to think you were Wonder Woman! You have given so much to us groupie's over the past six months it would have been impossible to keep up the number of freebies your were creating and giving away, which incidentally I thank you again for every gift. My only fear is that you won't be blogging as much. I love hearing about your life with hubby in Bristol and you two fur babies. :(

Sorry I'm so late with my comments, I've been AWOL for a few days.

Big Hugs
