A kit inspired by my camping trip

I am fully recovered from camping! It is but a distant memory now - LOL! Interesting evening - firstly, we discovered a tick on Lily - the first time we've had to deal with one! I did a quick google search and we managed to get it out - still alive - ICK!! It was a horrible little thing and I am still itchy now! I am worried about Lyme Disease - I will have to speak to the vet tomorrow and see what he thinks. There were some deer in the woods we stayed while camping - cue worried Mum of Lily!!

Then we went to training class and Lily was not really listening to me - still annoyed at me for digging a tick out of her! Apparently, it's quite painful when they're pulled out alive! I am beginning to think that I should have had children instead of dogs!! No, that's going a bit too far! LOL!

So, here are the papers to my new kit - The Great Outdoors! Click the image to download - I hope you like them - elements tomorrow. TTFN.

Vicki she should be okay if you got it out properly. They are quite common in Australia, kids often get them. Lily is probably just still knackered after that big weekend. Hope your have managed to get that hair back to straight LOL.

Great color palette! Makes me want to be camping minus the ticks! I had a Newfie who got Lyme Disease--we had never found a tick, but she got very lethargic and didn't want to play or go up/down stairs. Hope it's not! A friend of my Dad's invented something called a tick-key for removing ticks from pets and people too I suppose.

Love the papers! Getting ticks is a given in Montana. We pull oodles off our dogs, even when we use products that are supposed to deter them. We do have a little device that looks like a mini crowbar with a slit in it that makes them a little easier to pull out - and you don't have to touch them!

She should be good to go. I agree with Erica, she's probably still tired from all that swimming and boating she did.

I just love the colours on this kit!! I need to take some pictures (nice ones, I suck at taking pictures, lol).

I'm sure lily will be fine. I live in a small village in norfolk, surrounded by lots of woodland and unfortunately my dog (tess) gets lots of ticks becuase she likes running in the long grass and in the woods. tess hasn't had any health problems from having a tick. Hugs and kisses to lily. I have two children as well and sometimes I worry about tess just as much as I do my boys x.

great colors for the outdoors kit, thanks. Wouldn't worry too much about Lily, just watch her. Sure you will be very quick to see if she is acting strange.

The colors are so nice! Living in Arizona, we don't get to see a lot of green, so it's nice to see green...now if only I had some pics to go with it!

Hi, Vicki. I stumbled upon your beautiful "The Great Outdoors" kit, and I love it! I was able to download the alpha and elements, but the paper pack link does not work. I know this is an old kit, but if you would make the paper pack link available again, that would be really great! Thanks so much for sharing all your fabulous kits! :)

Hi there,
I made room on my hard disk, so I decided to hurry up and fill it with more of your incredible kits, before they retire. I managed to download the elements and alpha, but the link for the papers is not valid (I just saw above that it happened to someone else too).
Let me know if they are still available, please...
You can e-mail me at mfgervais@gmail.com if it's easier.
XO
