More festivity and a challenge at Scrap N' Art

Hello everyone - I think you like "Festivity", don't you? LOL! Thank you all soooo much for your lovely comments - I am overwhelmed by all the love out there! Tonight, I have an alpha for you, but I first wanted to tell you about a challenge I am hosting at The Scrap Pad over at Scrap N' Art. I've never hosted a challenge before, so I'm quite excited about it. Basically, I want you to scrap a digi page or a hybrid LO using my Merry Mistletoe kit (which was inside the November/December issue) and post it to the gallery. What do you win, I hear you ask? Well, the lucky winner will receive my newest kit that is not going to be available until January, and at that time, it will be the first kit I sell, so this is your chance to get it for free. No one else will have it until it goes on sale. Do you want to see it? Here it is - it's called Country Cottage!

Are you tempted? Then head on over to The Scrap Pad, register if you haven't already and check out the challenges thread for more information.

So, back to tonight's business! LOL! Here is my alpha for "Festivity" click it to download. Click here to take you off to Linda's blog for her alpha, which I haven't seen yet and, as always, don't forget to leave some love (she probably won't post until later, but be patient)! I, for one, can't wait to see what she's come up with - I want to say that I have enjoyed working with Linda soooo much - she is the most lovely lady in scrapland and I am so glad to be able to call her my friend. Love atcha Linda - MWAH!

Oooh, hosting your first challenge. SWEET. It'll be my first time competing in a challenge there. :) We're both "newbies," lol. The kit is great, BTW.
Hope Lily is doing well.

Oh, I am SO upset with Blogger!!! I just wrote one of my windy messages and it just disappeared on me! ROFL! Oh well, ALL things for a purpose, so I suppose it was not to have posted for some reason or other, eh? LOL!

I just wanted to congratulate you on your FIRST challenge and I hope to participate as well as giving you a BIG CHEER for your first kit for sale in January!!! WAHOOOOOOOOO!!!

I LOVE *Country Cottage* as BLUES are simply my FAVE!!! LOVE the GRUNGE and YUMMY touches of GREEN!

I am just getting ready to post here in a bit and wish to thank you ONCE again for collabing with me and I hope that we can do it again in the VERY near future!!! I've had a blast getting to know you better and I, too, am MOST pleasured and honored to call you "girlfriend"!!!

Thank you so much for the new alpha, Vicki. You and Linda definitely make a wonderful team. I knew you would. LOL

I love your Country Cottage kit. I haven't even downloaded the new Scrap N Art newsletter, but will go do that now. I may have to enter the challenge if I can get caught up. I did laundry all day today. That's the worst part about coming home from a trip.

Congrats on your first challenge and I hope all goes well for you.

Big Hugs!

Wow! Your first "For Sale" kit is simply fabulous!!!!! While although I will greatly miss your wonderful free kits, I am soooo super-proud and happy that you have decided to sell your works of art. Perhaps by January I'll be working about and I will still be able to receive your kits. Believe me, money is never a problem for me when it comes to buying scrap supplies....however, this only applies when I have a job. I worked for the same company for so many years, I never thought about what it would be like to be unemployed. Let me tell ya, it is not fun at all. I am a single mommy of two kids ages, 11 & 17 and it is really scary to spend anything when you have no job. I am super confident that my newest career opportunity is right around the corner. Once I have made that "turn" things will be all good.

I must decline the contest, as I am still learning how to use layers effectively! LOL! I am learning slowly, but surely!!

Congrats on your decision to sell your beautifully, fabulous, outstanding and crazy-cool kit! I cannot wait to see what else you come up with.

Warm wishes,

P.S. Thanks for always reading our comments!!

First let me say I love your designs! The country cottage kit is so pretty!

Second, I receive the Scrap 'Art Newsletter and did take a look at your challenge, I registered for the forum and of course waiting approval. In the meantime I want to ask a few questions about your challenge (this is the first one I've ever done!) Can we include other elements we have? Can we submit more than one layout?

Your help is appreciated! Again, I LOVE your stuff and as everyone has said, you deserve to be compensated for your time and wonderful talent! I am sad because like others I'm on a tight budget right now and extra expenditures can't be included.

I'm new to digital. You and Mel were the first blogs I found and you both inspire me! Thank you for sharing so much of yourself with us. You are very kind to do so.

Hi Vicki, Wow!!! Congratulations!!! You are doing a challenge and selling a kit. That's great. I have really enjoyed your work! You and Mel were the first blogs I found as well and I have been impressed with all your creativity and great color use. I have never done a challenge but I signed up for Scrap n Art and saw your beautiful kit. I have never done a challenge before so if I can figure it out I will try. My first pages were for a kit called Monsters that Mel made earlier this year and I haven't done any since . . . so I need to try again. Thaks for encouraging and inspiring us all!
