An alpha for Primary Grunge

Hello! I am here, blogging away whilst hubby changes my tyre - yes, the same one as before has gone flat AGAIN, despite the fact that it is only a few months old!! I truly feel sorry for him because he is really sick. He spent until 2pm today in bed, but had to get up to go to the dentist (which was an appointment that was already rescheduled because he forgot the last one, so he couldn't cancel), and now he is changing a tyre! I will make him something nice for dinner though to make up for it!!

Thursday is the new Wednesday this week as I am going into the office tomorrow instead of today - my least favourite thing of the week! I love working at home and so aside from the social aspect of going in, I'd rather not do it at all!! LOL!

So, when is everyone putting up their Christmas tree? I was thinking I may do it this weekend, but in reality will probably not get around to it until next weekend! That is mainly because I have to write my Christmas cards this weekend and we all know how long that takes!

Back to business for tonight - firstly, Krya (with a Russian Dutch Heart) has sent me a blog award and I wanted to say thank you to her - I am very touched. Also, I have a primary grunge LO from Kim which I manged to lose before - sorry Kim!! Her sons are just the cutest, aren't they?

And here is the alpha that completes the primary grunge kit - I hope you like it? Tomorrow you will be getting an add on from Sara at Sweet Blossom Designs - you'll love it! Until then....

Thanks SO much Vicki! I just adore your blog and all your work! I have just started scrapping, but am totally hooked (thanks to you ;)) this set completely rocks, I am a mom of 4 boys and it is tough to find things that are manly but not totally harsh! :D

I will be putting up the tree this weekend if I can get the house organized, (meaning stop scrapping and start cleaning silly lady). Thanks again!

Vicki, I am so sorry that hubby is ill. Hopefully he will feel better soon.

I think our grandkids will come over this weekend and help Grandma decorate and put up the tree and then we always make fudge after that for Santa, Dad, and Grandpa. We have turned it into a tradition and we have so much fun. I have over 60 Santas that were gifts from family and friends and many that I made when I was a ceramics instructor so it's a big job just getting everything out and not as easy for me to do as it once was. Thank goodness for my little helpers. LOL

Love the alpha. Thanks so much and big hugs!

LOVE this kit so much! Thank you. We put up our tree the week before Thanksgiving. I know it seems early but we are gone for two weeks around Christmas time and I love the time of enjoying the tree. Another reason we put it up early was to get me in the holiday mood. I just wasn't feeling it this year and now I am totally ready for family and friends this holiday season. Again thank you so much for all your hard work on the freebies you give out.

Thanks for sharing this kit. I love your work.

We got our tree up last weekend. We traditionally put it up the day after Thanksgiving (last Thursday here in the U.S.), but this year it had to wait an extra day while we worked on other household chores on Friday. I just love this time of year!

Sorry to hear your hubby is sick, hope he feels better real soon. Typically we put up our tree the last weekend of November, but this year we are afraid to put it up because we fear what our lab puppy might decide to do. We have visions of her attempting to drag it out the doggie door. Right now our plan is to be brave and put it up this coming weekend but I have a feeling I might chicken out and wait another weekend. Thank you so much for this wonderful set, I have enjoyed all of it.

Thank you so much for the alpha, Vicki. It's so cute, and "makes" the kit. This is a wonderful kit - love the different colors (Lots of red and green lately).

Sorry hubby is feeling awful! Hope he's 100 percent again quickly.

Tree up here before the weekend - maybe! I do have all gifts purchased and paper on everything though...does that count?
