Fall Memories elements and P365 Day 6!

What a day! Yesterday, hubby came home from work with a very sore elbow. He thought he had pulled a muscle in it, but this morning he was in agony, so off to A&E (ER for any readers from the US) for us at 7.30am. He was x-rayed and it transpires that a piece of bone has broken off his elbow bone and is loose in his RIGHT arm!!!! We have to go back tomorrow to see a surgeon at the fracture clinic to see what can be done about it! So now, he can't work (he's a plasterer and carpenter) and he can't drive, which wouldn't be too bad if he wasn't self-employed! Please keep your fingers crossed for me that the surgeon has good news for us tomorrow - we are fine for a few weeks without him earning money as I work full time, but not for too long!! So, that brings me to my photo for today.... hubby in a sling while he waits to see the surgeon tomorrow - he wouldn't let me photograph his head today!! ;o)

So, you don't think my bed from yesterday's photo was messy enough then? LOL!! I do just slide out from under the covers when I get out! As hubby gets out a couple of hours before me, I've managed to pull all the covers up and cosily around me by the time I am ready to get up!! LOL! This morning there was no time for a warm snuggly lie-in with hospitals to visit!

Back to business, here are the elements for Fall Memories - click the image to download, come back for the alpha tomorrow and happy scrapping!

Oh...poor hubby! I broke my elbow a few years back. some pins & screws & I'm almost good as new...but the PT to straighten after weeks of being bent - WORK. Good luck to him!

Oh, Vicki, your poor husband (and you, lol, since you'll have to drive him everywhere!) My DH fell down the stairs and broke a piece of bone off his elbow when I was about 6m preggo. I told the docs "Will he be fine by the time I give birth, or do we need to hire a nanny for awhile?" Thankfully he was recovered by then and he could help with diaper duty. :)
Please update us on his status!

Oh my...your poor hubby. I sure hope the prognosis is good when you see the specialist. It's tough to consider him mending and in physical therapy and all when you will only have one income during that period. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers, Vicki.

Heck, just having a husband home all day every day, and unable to keep active sounds like a chore. It's been my experience that they get rather like a caged tiger.

Thank you so much for the elements for this darling kit. Your generosity is amazing!

Sure hope that your husband can have an easy correction for the elbow. Can surely understand how important this is to his job. Thanks for the elements to the kit, each and everyone is super. Will keep the 2 of you in my prayers.

Sorry to hear about your hubby, hope he gets well soon. It's hard to have something like that happen any time, but even worse now with the economy.

Thanks so much for taking the time to offer us a free kit!

Thanks so much for these great elements. And I hope hubby is feeling better soon and good words come from the doctor. Poor thing. Great job on your first layout. Week one is stuck on my memory card because the card reader is part of the printer that's still at the shop. And the camera broke Sunday so I can't connect and download that way. But I'm using my old one that I gave to my kids and I do have a card reader for that old and larger memory card so maybe I'll get one done this week.
