More new kits at Scrap That Idea!

Let me tell you what the other girls have on offer this week - some amazing stuff! First is a gorgeous kit from Stacey called "Not Too Shabby" - check out the layout I did and the preview which is clickable to the store...

This one is from Mel - it's MASSIVE. It's a collection of mini kits from Mel called "Oh So Heavenly". You can either buy each separately or the whole collection together. This is my layout using bits from each and below is the preview to the entire collection - click that to go to Mel's store where you will see the individual kits too.

And last but not least, this is from Sara. It's called "Funky Baby" and is really a unique baby kit - I was so relieved it wasn't pastel!! LOL! Here's my layout and the kit preview is clickable! See you soon!

Whispering Sweet Nothings!!

My newest kit is in store right now and is called Sweet Nothings! It is going to satisfy anyone out there with a pink obsession (Vicki A)!! lol! This kit, although pink and girly, is also quite 'grown up', so you can scrap all generations with this. It is on sale here for 48 hours for $3 - take a look:

And now for my fantastic CT. I have a new member - Laramie! Unfortunately, Diana is too busy right now in real life and made the sad decision to leave my team - I'm really sorry to see her go :(. However, I have added two people to the team and the first of those is Laramie (I will tell you about the other member next week). Laramie is already on Stacey's CT and I have admired her work for a while now. This is a little about Laramie and then you will see two fabulous layouts she has done with Sweet Nothings:

I have been digi scraping for one year and love it but did traditional scraping for about 10 years. I have always been a scrapbooker but did it simply by gluing everything in a blank book with newspaper clippings, magazine articles, receipts etc. When my sister introduced me to this amazing world of scrap booking 10 years ago I was amazed and couldn't wait to get started. I started out scraping my vacations and doggies. I am going to go back to school this fall and hope to study graphic design to receive a certificate. My sister is finishing her masters degree and says I will do great.

This is Laramie's blog: http://www.artgalstyle.blogspot.com/ - check it out!

Stunning, I am sure you will agree! And here are the layouts from some of my other CTs - more to come, but they are all absolutely gorgeous as they always are!

And for the freebie - a cluster frame - click the preview to download. TTFN.

Lily update

Thank you all so much for your lovely, supportive comments about Lily and I know many of you have been waiting for an update. So, we saw the vet this afternoon and I explained what had happened on Sunday morning and what had happened before (the 3-4 previous episodes she's had have been over more than a year and the last time was about 8 months ago). He explained all about epilepsy in dogs and that as long as she is away from furniture and other hazards, she is not going to do herself any harm. He also said that there is no test to determine for certain it is epilepsy, but all the signs point towards that. He said they can do tests to eliminate other serious things, but as she is so young and so healthy otherwise, there is probably no need right now.

The upshot of it all is that we are not going to put her on meds for now unless the seizures become more frequent - he said that if she goes another 8 months without one, then it's fine and she is better not taking meds. So, we are going to see for now how things go and monitor her behaviour closely over the coming weeks and months.

I will keep you all updated on her progress of course! Spare a thought for poor Pompey who was really scared about it all - he was nervous of being around Lily for 24 hours after which I guess is understandable - I just hope that it doesn't happen too frequently for his sake.

I'll be back tomorrow with the elements for Bright Lights of Summer! See you then!

The Bright Lights of Summer

Well, I have hinted at it a few times and today it starts - my latest collaboration freebie! I have teamed up with the very talented Charlie of Charlie's Digiscraps. Charlie and I met via Mel's creative team and have collaborated before with Mel too. This time, it's just the two of us and I am hoping you will really enjoy what we have to offer. This is what the kit looks like - first Charlie's part and then mine....

This is what some of my amazing CT did with the kit (both parts) - I am sure Charlie has some to show you too.

Today, you can get the papers. Click my preview to get mine and click here to visit Charlie's brand new blog to pick up hers (I don't seem to have a papers preview)! Be sure to leave some love.

A new kit and a zingy freebie!

Thank you for the comments so far about Lily - I really appreciate you taking the time to read about her and offer words of support.

I have a new kit in store today called Citrus Zing - it's a bright, funky, summery kit just in time for those fun summer photos that I know you'll be taking! This is what the full kit looks like - it's just $3 for 48 hours, so grab it while's it's cheap by clicking the preview!

My CT have outdone themselves with their layouts - take a look at these - there are more to come, so remember to check back in a day or two for those.... The first is from Sara - how perfect is that photo for this kit?

This one is from Vicki and she always has the perfect photo for my kits - check out those funky "gogglers" - I love them!

I love it when my CT scrap themselves - check out how relaxed Cheryl looks here!

Sara has the perfect photo for the kit too - look at those orange lips - totally cute!

And, what can I say? Stacey has the most cute kids ever - just how adorable is this photo?

And so to the freebie - this is a simple cluster frame that coordinates with the kit - I hope you can make use of it even if you don't buy the kit, although you won't regret it if you do, I'm sure ;). Enjoy - see you tomorrow!
