My paper scrapping efforts!

I said I would show and here goes....! They are from the classes I took last weekend.

Firstly is a circular layout designed by Lisa - excuse my cutting mat in the background - I should have put a piece of white card down before I took the photo!! I would never have thought to do a circular layout, but I love it!

Next, is a layout designed by Laura which is about me in the past and the present - I love this, it's something I've never done before.

And finally, a layout designed by Nicola - look how gorgeous it is!! LOL! Nicola is one clever chicky and taught me some amazing new stuff!

Trick or treat, smell my feet!!

Well, actually don't smell my feet - you may get a shock!! LOL!! Today's new kit is a halloween themed kit, but before I tell you about that and let you have your freebie, let me give you a long overdue Vicki update - I haven't been very chatty recently have I?

Firstly, I've been doing quite a bit of paper scrapping. There are a few reasons for this - I had a full day last weekend of scrapping classes and made 3 fabulous layouts (photos coming I promise Sara) and 2 mini books (neither of which is quite finished, but I will get them done before Christmas!!). I have also started a Pompey and Lily mini book - something to keep forever. I know it seems they will be here forever right now, but I know they won't be and I think maybe it will be too hard for me to make the book when they've gone, but it's something I can look back at in years to come. And, I have also designed a mini book for a hybrid class I am teaching at the GoGo Getaway at the end of October. I designed the digi items, printed them and used real supplies to decorate - I am really pleased with the result, but I can't show you because it's a surprise for the class on the day :). I'll show you after!

Lily is really coming along with her agility classes - you should see her jumping and running and going through hoops and over a-frames and seesaws - she loves it. The only problem she has is concentration. We are training in a place where horses train and so there is plenty of horse poo for her to eat in between jumps!! lol! Will she ever learn??

Pompey is his usual self - only gets excited for a) walking b) food and c) visitors - not necessarily in that order!! He is really settling into being a typical labrador - lazy and hungry!! We love it!!

Hubby is just as obsessed with football (soccer) as ever, but his team are doing TERRIBLY - they have played 7 league matches this season and lost every one of them - things are not looking good. On the upside, they are in the last 16 of the league cup having won their 2 matches in that competition!! LOL!

So, that's what's going on in my world - I'll update again soon ;)

For today, I have my new kit called Trick or Treat for just $3 - take a look:

And this is what my fabulous CT did with it:

Gorgeous work as always girls - thanks for your support!

And now to the freebie - it's just a simple note, but I think it will work well on most halloween layouts and I hope you can make use of it - click the image to download. TTFN.

Funky Blue Jeans challenge and a freebie

Hi everyone - I spent the whole day paper scrapping yesterday with ScrapaGoGo and it was FANTASTIC! I will show you all that I made later - I just have a few things to finish off first!

For today, I have a new kit in my store to show you - it's called Funky Blue Jeans and is a remake of my original Blue Jeans kit. This kit was the one I used to choose my original CT a year ago and I am really happy to say that quite a few of those girls are still on my CT to this day (although in all fairness, Stacey, Mel and Sara are kind of stuck with me. LOL)! Thanks to all of you for sticking with me and thanks to my new girls who have joined since for filling those places left by my original team, in such a wonderful way!

This is what my new kit looks like - I hope you like it, I loved making it!

I have decided to use this kit as a challenge - check this out....

Many of my CT have joined in - take a look at what they've done - it's so interesting to see how styles have developed but also how my designing has developed - I love it!!

First up is Vicki - her original layout was beautiful of course, but with her second you can see how her style has developed although she still claims to be a junk it up scrapper! Thanks Vicki - I love them both!

This is from the lovely Stacey - those girls of hers make any layout gorgeous, but check out her remake - it's stunning! Thanks girl - love your layouts!

These are from Laramie who wasn't on my original team, but did scrap a layout with the original kit when it was released as a freebie. Check out the development of her style - beautiful!

These are Cheryl's layouts - she wasn't on my original team either, but again, she has an original layout to remake - I think the thing I notice most is that she clusters more and that is definitely to our advantage as she makes QPs for us ;).

This gorgeous layout is from Sara - absolutely stunning - thanks Sara!

And this final one is from Kim who also doesn't have an original layout, but check out this beautiful layout she did - her son is so photogenic isn't he?

And now for a freebie - are you still with me? LOL! This is a simple cluster frame to match the kit - I hope you like it and will consider buying the full kit at the bargain price of $3. Click the image to download. Good luck with the challenge!

Pop shop alpha and check out my blinkies!!

Before we get to the Pop Shop alpha, I must tell you about my blinkies. I showed you some made by my blog readers - Marie-France and LeeAnne and now I have a new one from Sarah - check out on the left side of my blog - they are all just so cute - please feel free to snag them if you'd like (just remember to host yourselves). I also am very excited to have a new professional banner and blinkie which was made for me by Laura at Simply Scraps - this girl really can work some magic - check out what she did for me above and on the left. If you are in need of a blinkie or banner, please consider checking her out - you won't be disappointed that's for sure! So, a big, huge thank you to LeeAnne, Marie-France, Sarah and, of course, Laura for the amazingly wonderful blinkies I now have!

Back to business and I want to show you my layout made using the Pop Shop collab - I really enjoyed making it and I do believe it's among my all time favourite layouts - I hope you like it too.

Pop shop elements

Hey everyone - I hope you are enjoying the Pop Shop collab - I can't wait to see your layouts coming through using it - hint, hint!! Today, both Marie-France and I have the elements to share with you, but first, I wanted to show you the layouts from her CT which are just as gorgeous as the ones from mine - take a look.... The first is from Marie-France herself - beautiful layout, isn't it?

This one is from Marie-France's sister, Anne-Laure - love the 'talk to the hand' photo!

This one is from Émilie - how gorgeous is that smile? And the layout is stunning.

These next two are made by Judith - take a look at the magnificent volcano in the second - WOW!

Gorgeous inspiration there! Please visit the girls blogs and leave some love if you have time to do it - I know they'd appreciate it! So, to get the elements, click Marie-France's preview to go to her blog to download and click mine to download from 4shared. See you tomorrow with the alpha!

Finally, a freebie collab kit.....

It's been a while, but I have a new kit for you and it's a collaboration kit! You are going to love this - it is very original and I have my collab partner to thank for that. Marie-France approached me and asked if I wanted to collab with her. I absolutely adore doing collabs, so I jumped at the chance and said that she could pick the theme and colours. She did just that and look what we came up with! It's called Pop Shop and here are both previews.

Wow hey? I am really pleased with how the kit turned out and my CT certainly didn't let me down with their work. I have some layouts from Marie-France's CT to show you tomorrow - they did good too!

Click Marie-France's preview to go to her blog to download and click my preview to download my papers (I have used 4shared, but the links have been uploaded since the hacking, so they should be totally safe). I'll see you tomorrow with some elements. Be sure to leave some love for Marie-France to encourage her to do another collab in the future ;) TTFN.
