Some paper scrapping!

I have some paper items to show you today!! I am really proud of these two things. Firstly is an advent calendar I made. When I went to CHA, a lovely lady on the Karen Foster stand gave me one of their box advent calendars as I have always struggled to get one in England. I was under pressure to do something with it and I finally got around to it in time for Christmas!! This is how it looks - can't wait to use it at Christmas :)


And this is the Pompey and Lily mini book I made. I missed a couple of the pages and it's dark now, so too late to take more photos, but you get the idea from these I think. Would love to hear what you think of them and I'll show you the 2010 calendar I've made soon (when the date labels are on it). TTFN.

New kits at Scrap That Idea!

Just wanted to let you know about the new kits in store today. My CT duties have been really bad this week and I only have one layout to show you. It's lucky the girls love me or I'd be in BIG trouble!! LOL!

Out and about!

So this past week I had a few days off work and we did a couple of days out with Pompey and Lily. I wanted to show you some promised photos from those days out so that you can see a little bit of the area where I live. The first set is from Westonbirt Arboretum (about 40 minutes from where I live) which is a beautiful aboretum and especially so in the autumn. Take a look - the photos speak for themselves....







And this set of photos is from the coastal path at Portishead (about 30 minutes from where I live) - it's a really lovely walk - we only saw 2 other people the whole time we were there which made it feel really special for us. Take a look....


This house is so beautiful sat on the edge of the sea, I had to take a photo of it - hubby and I decided it would be a wonderful place to live!

What's new?

The other girls have new kits this week, let's start with Stacey - her kit is called It's the Tooth Fairy and it's GORGEOUS - here's my layout and the preview is clickable.

Day out!

Woo hoo - I have a few days off work!! Today, we are taking Pompey and Lily with us to Westonbirt Arboretum - it's beautiful there in the fall and I will hopefully have some great photos to show you later when I'll be back with some CT layouts using Oh Boy! Until then.....

Oh Boy!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend - I've had a restful one - reading and scrapping! This week I have a boy kit for all of you that cringed when you saw the pinkness of last week's kit!! LOL! It's called Oh Boy! and is full of boy stuff!! Take a look....
