Orange Grape

I'm back! I really was too exhausted last night to post, but I had an AMAZING time at the GoGo Getaway - I can't begin to tell you how much fun we had. Lots of laughter (of course), twenty one wonderful classes designed by the GoGo team (including two classes from me) of which everyone took 7 each, great company, lots of inspiration and top notch organisation! Everyone appeared to be having a ball and I made some great new friends and caught up with some from previous retreats. Thanks to everyone there who made it such a wonderful event.

Back to today and I want to let you have part 3 of Orange Grape - click the image to download directly from my blog and leave some love in the comments section or in my chat box on the right of my blog - I love reading them!! TTFN. {link expired}

Another bragbook

I really enjoyed putting together my Doodle Love hybrid bragbook the other day, so I decided to make one for my friend using my Boyfriend kit. I love how it turned out, so I have put it together as a pack and you can get it in store for just $1. Here's what the made up book looks like:

And this is the bragbook pack - click the preview to buy in store. TTFN.

Paper scrapping

I bet you didn't expect me back today did you? Well, I have been paper scrapping again using the ScrapaGoGo March kit. I love the bright funky colours and thought it was perfect to scrap a photo of me in Hollywood. So, this is my very first layout using the ScrapaGoGo kits I have been receiving for over a year now! Let's hope it's the first of many! TTFN.

Sara's challenge

Have you checked out the Scrap That Idea blog today? Sara is running a challenge this week and I thought I would have a go at it! The challenge is to scrap a double page layout using lots of photos - this is what I did using my Sweet Tweet kit and a template by Yin. I can't win, but you could - a $5 gift certificate! What are you waiting for? TTFN.

Orange Grape freebie part 2

Thanks for all your lovely comments about Orange Grape - I hope you are going to enjoy collecting it all and I can't wait to see your layouts! Before we get to the download, I have to show you two more layouts that Laramie has made with the kit - they are gorgeous!

Now for part two of Orange Grape and, as yesterday, no more 4shared!! But this time, just click the preview to download direct from my blog (the file size is 10.2MB). Enjoy and please consider leaving a comment here so that I know what you think of it! {link expired}

GoGo Getaway classes

Just wanted to share something quickly - on Friday I am heading off for a weekend of scrapping at the GoGo Getaway - I cannot wait! I am teaching two hybrid classes which I am really, really excited about and I hope everyone who is taking my classes enjoys them as much as I did designing them. A sneak peek of both - you will see the full projects in all their glory after the weekend! TTFN.

Some hybrid

I didn't expect to post again, but I have been playing with hybrid and wanted to post what I did. You may have seen the Doodle Love bragbook pack I have in store? Well, I wanted to be able to carry something with me to show people what I do - you will all know that many people don't understand digi and I have to explain it over and over. So to make it easier, I printed them out on 7x5 photo paper, put the pages inside some plastic wallets and bound it together and then tied some ribbons onto the wire binding. This is the result - small enough to carry in my bag! What do you think? I'd really love to know! TTFN.

Sweet Tweet and a freebie

Hey everyone - I hope you are having a wonderful weekend! Today, I want to show you my newest kit in store called 'Sweet Tweet' - I hope you will love it as much as I do! Take a look at it in all it's glory....

And take a look at what my CT have done with it - more gorgeousness for you to admire - they really know how to make a kit look amazing, don't they?

So, to that freebie! I am now going to be giving my add on freebies free via the store. So, no more 4shared, but it does mean that you have to register at the store to get it. You only have to do that once and each time any of the four of us have a freebie, you can go get it really quickly and easily without the annoyance that is 4shared. This add on is a QP - see preview below - if you click the preview, it will take you to the store. When you get there, follow the instructions in the description of the item. Check back tomorrow for more Orange Grape and don't forget to leave some love here on my blog. TTFN.

A mix of things...

OK, this is a catch up post before the weekend begins - I have two freebies coming, including the second part of Orange Grape, so be sure to check back for those.

The first thing to show you is a layout using my Doodle Love kit that Brandy made - it's stunning, I love the way she's colour-washed the photos to blend with the kit - take a look:

I also want to show you the new kits the girls had in store last weekend - I totally forgot! First up is Stacey's Q is for Quality Time - my layout first featuring Pompey looking intelligent!!

And this kit is from Sara - it's an Easter kit full of pastels called Easter Delight - as you know, not my thing, but I did my CT layout and actually am relatively pleased with it :). However, the kit is beautifully made as always - take a look:

Finally, this kit is from Mel - another Easter kit called Hop Along - it's a fun, brighter Easter kit - take a look:

OK, so that's it for today, I will be back tomorrow with my new store kit and a freebie to go with it - you're going to love it! TTFN.

Just stuff!

So, I haven't blogged just for blogging's sake for a while, so I thought I might say hello to you all! I've been busy, as always, but I am now on the countdown to a three month sabbatical from work in May, June and July - I can hardly wait!! I am planning so many things and nothing at the same time!! It's hard to explain, but I will cherish just doing nothing for a while - when I say nothing, I don't mean nothing of course! What I mean is a leisurely coffee with a friend, spending a whole day in my craft room, shopping in Ikea on a Monday afternoon rather than tackling the crowds on a Saturday afternoon, cooking for my hubby (well, maybe lol), walking the dogs when I feel like it for hours rather than a quick dash during my lunch hour, doing a major spring clean and clear out of our house, sitting in my garden with a good book and a cup of tea/wine depending on the time of day - the world is my oyster! I also have a couple of big things planned - we are going on a tour of the UK coast for 2-3 weeks with the dogs and, very excited about this, Sara is coming to visit from Australia with her hubby and two kids. I can't believe I finally get to meet her in real life and I'm really looking forward to it!! For now, I still have just over 6 weeks to wait and I am sure things will be hectic while I try to hand over to those who will be doing my job for me!

We are also embarking on our final part of house renovation (for now) - the oak flooring in our front room (the back room was done more than a year ago). When this is done, our house will be done, but hubby has a list of things he'd like to do again!! LOL! I'm not worried about those, just excited to have no more 'building' work going on! Did I tell you about our new fireplace? It's a reproduction victorian cast iron one and it's totally gorgeous and I love it to pieces!! lol!

Pompey and Lily are well - Lily is enjoying her agility and has taken to risky pursuits of late - take a look at her climbing the logs in our kids play area at the local park....

She is such a danger dog!! LOL! Pompey just stood at the bottom of them barking at her the whole time. He is so protective, but he totally told her off when she came down! They are so funny together - just like brother and sister!

Oh, and I did a paper scrapbook layout on Sunday - can you believe? At the weekend I will photograph it and show it to you - it was all my own design - no template, no scraplift! I was so proud of myself! That's all for now, but I am sure you are going to see a lot more blog entries like this when I'm on sabbatical and have more interesting things going on in my life!! TTFN.

A new freebie for March!

OK, so I know we're half way through March, but this is my March freebie - I am a little behind, but soon there will be a five week month and we'll catch up a little!! lol! I wasn't sure about this kit to start with, but I grew to LOVE it and the layouts done by the Scrap That Idea CT ladies are going to blow you away and make you love it too!! I decided to give this kit early to all the girls and so I got some layouts from the other girls' CTs which is exciting. So, take a look at the layouts....

You can buy the entire kit in my store at any time here for just $1. And all you have to do to download part one for free is click the preview - simple! I hope you like it - please leave a comment here to let me know what you think - I do love reading them! TTFN.

Boyfriend kit and a freebie

Here's a great kit for scrapping your boys! Your boyfriend, your husband, your kids, your military man! It's called 'Boyfriend' - take a look...

And take a look at what my CT have done with it. I just bought this time saving action from Stolen Moments - it takes my CT layouts and makes a nice collage from them with names underneath - I love it!

And I LOVE the layouts of course - a couple of military themed layouts as I expected which is great! I wish I had some photos of hubby in his uniform from when he was in the navy, but I don't - I really must talk to his Mum to see what she can give me :)

I have a freebie cluster frame for you which coordinates with the kit - if you buy the whole kit, it's included, so no need to download from here! Click the preview to download and please leave some love for me here, on 4shared or in my chat box on the right hand side of my blog - I really do love reading your comments! MWAH x
