Yesterday my friend Nikki came over to scrap with me and I made two paper layouts and some cards. Just wanted to show them to you in case you're interested :)
Firstly, I made a layout based on my recent template - it turned out great - I must try that more often. Here's the layout - I would have preferred a larger photo of my Mum & Dad, but my photo printer is broken and I just have my POGO which prints at 2x3!
And then Nikki and I joined Kirsty's online crop and I made this layout of Pompey's nose and paw following her sketch. Just as I love using templates for Digi, I am loving using sketches for paper!!
That's all for today - catch you tomorrow with my latest new release.

Wedding Day freebie
My CT member, Gina, made some pages for her Dad's wedding and they are very simple, but very beautiful and I thought that others could use them. So, Gina agreed to let you have them as QPs!! Woohooo! Check out this stunning layout and head on over to Gina's blog to download - there are two more to come as I release more of the kit too. TTFN.

New Day - Dawn's layout
Wow - you guys like my template - thanks for all the love on that, it really makes it worthwhile making them for you :)
I just wanted to show you Dawn's layout using her kit 'New Day' - somehow it slipped through the other day and as it's her kit, that was a bit silly of me!! LOL! Sorry Dawn! Anyhoo, a reminder of the kit which you can pick up here.
And Dawn's BEAUTIFUL layout :). Thanks girl - I love it and I love you too xxx

A freebie wedding kit
So, a little while ago, a blog reader of mine asked me if I would make her a kit which she would gladly buy from me. I insisted that she didn't have to buy it, that I would make it for her and you can imagine we went back and forth for a bit with her saying no, she would pay and me saying she could have it for free.... Anyhoo - I won!! And, as a consequence - you win too because you get it as a freebie!! The kit is a wedding kit and is specific to the colours of Joni's son and daughter-in-law's wedding, but I guess there are others out there that can use it? I am going to give it to you in three parts and today you get the papers. Check out the full kit you'll be getting. Please note that the papers are only valid until the elements are posted next weekend....
Next week I will show you some layouts that my CT did with it, but for now, just click here {sorry, expired} and download the papers - remember to leave a message so that I know what you think! TTFN.

It's a new day, it's a new dawn.....
When Dawn gave me the swatch for her kit, I just kept thinking of this song and the name 'New Day' for Dawn was born! Dawn is a very special lady and I am really happy to have her on my team. She just celebrated her third blogoversary and so it's the perfect time to release her kit. Dawn - I hope you love the kit and everyone else, I hope you love it too - you can buy it here for just $3. Here is what the full kit looks like:
And these gorgeous creations are what my CT made - WOW!!
Before we get to the freebie for today, I wanted to show you what my team will be doing in October over at DSA - check out Vicki's Working Girls entering Battle of the CTs! Please come and support us - there's some tough competition, but I think we can do it - my team are AMAZING!! It's not starting until 11th October, so I'll remind you nearer the time. Go team!
So, that brings us to the freebie and I made a template this week from my layout using New Day. Here's a look at my layout first.
{Sorry - freebie expired} :( Anyhoo - I'll be back soon. TTFN.

Hello scrapland!
I just wanted to stop in and say a general hi to everyone out there reading my blog! I am getting close to my birthday and am quite excited because I am going to get a new lens for my camera! I haven't been practicing enough recently, but my friend Nikki is coming to see me next week, so we'll have a bit of a play - I can't wait.
I am also getting ready for the GoGo Getaway which is at the end of October. My class is ready to go and I am really excited about it - I hope the girls taking the class will really enjoy it too. I really love going to the retreats - I get to meet such wonderful people and also share my passion for digi with paper scrappers!
I also participated in my very first cyber crop last night with Kirsty Wiseman. I was fed up with the football on the TV and Kirsty said to come and join in with her crop. I am so glad I did! I think mine was the only digi layout, but I really, really enjoyed it and there were some gorgeous layouts made by the other girls! I used my Zodiac kit and a couple of corrugated card elements and came up with this layout featuring my hubby using the sketch that Kirsty gave us.
So, if you're around next Wednesday (evening UK time), come check out the crop - it's great fun!! That's all for today - will be back tomorrow with a new release in store! TTFN.

What's your sign?
Mine is Libra (my birthday is in two weeks time) and I really enjoy reading my horoscope, even though I don't take it too much to heart, it's a bit of fun! I am sure there are lots of you out there that are the same in that respect. Well, I had an idea to design a kit that meant that we could all scrap our sign - you know sometimes you see challenges to scrap yourself, well what better way to do that than to scrap your sign? Fun hey? Also, you can scrap your whole family as Sara has done in her layout which you'll see below - it makes for a really cool layout. I used bright colours so that you can include kids and adults in your pages - fun for all the family! So, this is what 'Zodiac' looks like - there are lots of parts to it....
You can buy it in store right now for a mere $3 here. Pick it up before it goes up to $4 on Friday. If you do pick it up, I really want to see your layouts in the Scrap That Idea gallery. I am going to choose a layout using this kit that is posted in the gallery (hopefully there will be at least one) to win my next two kits. They are already designed and I can tell you they are called 'New Day' and 'Giggles' - tempted? Can't wait to see your layouts!! Hint, hint!! So, for inspiration, this is what my CT did with the kit - very cool layouts showing you what can be done....
And of course, I have a freebie for you - it's a wordart cluster that I made for my own layout and you get it for free. If you buy the kit, why not build your layout around it to start you off? Click here to download and remember to leave me a comment so that I know what you think of the kit - I really do love reading them and I can reply to you right here on my blog if you have any questions!! TTFN.

I'm still alive
Hey everyone - I know I haven't posted this week - it's been hectic around here, but I am still alive, honestly!! Lily has been poorly - she has been diagnosed with chronic gastritis and inflammatory bowel, which is hard enough, but she had another seizure this week too, so the poor little thing is really being put through the wringer. I feel so sorry for her, but she is such a happy dog, that you'd never know anything was wrong!! I am about to head off to bed with a book, but wanted to let you know that I will be back to show you my latest new kit called Zodiac tomorrow - I think you'll like it - it's a bit different and great fun for scrapping the whole family in the same layout - here's my layout just to whet your appetite :) TTFN.

Dreams....
I have a new kit out today and it's called 'Dreams'. It's a soft coloured kit full of elements to help scrap those gorgeous photos of your kids sleeping. You know the ones, where they look like butter wouldn't melt and they're quiet!! LOL! I know there are lots of you out there who have these photos and I hope if you buy this kit that I get to see some of them in our Scrap That Idea gallery - you may even become layout of the month and win a kit of your choice!
So do you want to see what the kit looks like? This is 'Dreams'....
And this is what some of my creative team did with it - look how beautiful they all look when they're put together - this would be a great kit for an album.
I did a layout too - this is a photo of my best friend's little boy sleeping when he was a baby - soooo sweet, don't you think?
And I took part of my layout and made up a cluster frame for you to download for free. Click here to download directly from my blog and don't forget to leave a comment - I have a new comment system that means I can reply to you right here on my blog (which makes it easier for me to reply to people who don't leave contact details). And if you want to buy the kit, click here. TTFN.

Autumn and a freebie
Well, autumn is on it's way for the northern hemisphere and I know for some it's a relief after really hot weather. For us in England, we've not had a good August, so we are hoping for a warm autumn before the inevitable cold and wet really sets in!! I am continuing my creative team appreciation kits this week with the kit I made for Kim B. She sent me a swatch which was very autumnal and this is what I made for her - this is 'Autumn'.
And of course, the amazing talent that Kim has, she came up with two beautiful layouts to show it off - check them out.....
And this is what my other CT girls did with it - as always, I am blown away with their talent!
You can pick the kit up in store here for just $3 - what are you waiting for? If you spend just $5 in our store during September you get a freebie kit automatically added to your basket - have you seen 'Fallen'? It's a deliciously rich kit full of fall colours - take a look and don't miss out. The kit isn't available to buy anywhere until October when it will be $3.
And of course I made a freebie for you - it's a wordart that coordinates with the kit. You can download it here. TTFN.

BIG news!
Have you read our new monthly newsletter? If so, you will already know what our BIG news is at STI. Sadly, our wonderful friend Sara has decided to hang up her designing hat and retire.... she is finding that she doesn't have the time to devote to designing with her busy life and we all totally understand. We don't want her to go, but it's something she has to do for her sanity - she is now a 'scrapping for pleasure' girl again!! You will still be seeing her layouts, so watch this space!! We love and miss you Sara!!
So, that left a place for a new designer and we knew just the person straight off. Laramie who has been CTing for us all for a while now. She started designing a little while back and her talent is awesome - check out the flier she made to announce her new venture - very funky!!
I hope you will all support Laramie in her new venture and check out her first kit in store which is called 'Laughing Blossoms' - it's absolutely stunning! Click here to go to her store to buy it! TTFN.
